We don't store any files, all accessible files are from InterPlanetary File System (IPFS)
The same IPFS CIDs can be accessed only a few times per day. For unrestricted access, please contact our Commercial Manager for payment.
The IPFS is a distributed file storage protocol that allows computers all over the globe to store and serve files as part of a giant peer-to-peer network.
An IPFS Gateway acts as a bridge between traditional web browsers and IPFS.
Through the gateway, users can browse files and websites stored in IPFS as if they were stored in a traditional web server.
Any computer can download the IPFS software and start adding and requesting files from the network.
Every file added to IPFS is given an address derived from a hash of the file’s content. That address is like a fingerprint. It belongs uniquely to that file and will be the same, no matter where the file is stored in IPFS.
Every single computer that’s running IPFS acts as both a client and a server. In other words, each computer running the IPFS software can serve content to any other computer in the network, as well as request content from anyone in the network. So if you run IPFS on your computer and upload a picture to the IPFS network, that image can be viewed and downloaded by anyone else in the world who is also running IPFS.
Every file added to IPFS is given a unique address derived from a hash of the file’s content. This address is called a Content Identifier (CID) and it combines the hash of the file and a unique identifier for the hash algorithm used into a single string.
When someone talks about ‘uploading’ content to IPFS, what they really mean (usually) is that they’re announcing to the network that they have some content by adding an entry to the DHT that maps from CID to their IP address. Somebody else who wants to download their data would lookup the CID in the DHT, find the person’s IP address, and download the data directly from them. IPFS.PM do not provide file upload service.
Browsing IPFS using IPFS.PM’s gateway requires two things: a browser connected to the Internet, and the address of something on IPFS that you want to view.
WHY WE EXIST
We believe in a web where you can trust data itself without needing to trust who is holding it. To make this future a reality, we are building the tools and infrastructure for all Internet users to access content on IPFS.
We make sure to put meaning behind everything we do.
We're a fast-paced, remote team of builders, makers, creators, and dreamers.
